It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Finally! White gloves!

I just got the perfect white fingerless gloves for my cosplay. I ended up having to look online because I couldn't fine plain white gloves anywhere!
But the ones I got are perfect size and have the perfect look to them

Only two more physics classes, then my final next Thursday. Ugh I'm stressing out.

I had a bit of a breakdown the other day. A mix of stress and returning depression. I finally decided to check out this one site I was suggested a while ago. [The Compassionate Friends]. If any of you have lost siblings, children, loved ones, etc., I suggest going into one chat rooms. It's only for those who have gone through similar losses, so it's people who understand not only the depression that comes with a loss, but also how it effects everything else you do. Wonderful place and wonderful people.

Oh and my scanner still doesn't work. I have so many finished pictures for people that I can't scan!!! Rawr! (~lunastar's Paparazzi killed it haha)
